Skill Advancement
MACRC JATC
Thinking about taking a skill advancement class at the training center? Be prepared; these classes are becoming more and more important for establishing your qualification for critical jobs in various specialties of the trade. Hardware, hospital, or scaffolding certifications are absolutely required in some situations.
All the training, Apprentice and Skill Advancement will need to be accessed through the Member Portal. The new UBC mobile app in now available on Google Play and Apple Store

Congrats to local 250 4th year apprentice David Power and newly minted Local 250 Journeyman Omar Ramirez for completing all the required CubClub levels and earning the top reward of having their dues paid for a year. This is a major achievement that requires mentoring apprentices, participating in multiple job actions and volunteer projects, taking skill advancement classes and so much more. MACRC and Local 250 President Joel Pogose and Representative Ryan Reitman presented the rewards at Local 250’s meeting last month.
